As a UX designer, my role in this project was to translate the existing user experience design into a functional user interface. This process involved taking the overall design concepts and ideas that have been developed for the product or service, and turning them into a visual interface that users can interact with. Overall, my role in this project was to apply my skills and expertise as a UX designer to create a functional, visually appealing, and cohesive user interface that meets the needs of the target audience and supports the overall design strategy for the product.
To translate the design concepts effectively, I first needed to create a robust design strategy to guide my work. This foundational phase included defining the target audience for the product, identifying the key features and essential functionality that the product should offer, and determining the overall look and feel that would define the interface and its interaction patterns.
In addition to creating the user interface itself, I was also responsible for developing a comprehensive design system for the product. A design system is a critical asset, providing a set of standardized guidelines, principles, and reusable components that define how the product should look, feel, and behave consistently. This included establishing specifications for typography, color schemes, layout grids, iconography, and other core visual and interactive elements.
